We've all been there.

Think to the first time you walked through the doors of a church. Or your first visit to a new doctor's office. Or even the first day at a new school.

How did you feel? Was it awkward? Scary? Intimidating I bet!

I know how hard it can be to step through the doors of a church for the first time. But that's why my hope and dream is for Swerve to be a place that is super welcoming.

Why? Because I want you to feel right at home. Like part of the family. But how can we create that welcoming environment? And, what was it like for the early church?

That's what we'll be talking about this Sunday at 11am inside of PS 299 - 88 Woodbine Street as we continue our brand new series, No Place Like Home. We'll have some bagels, fruit, coffee, and snacks for you when you get here!
